Baga Beach Goa

Baga beach is one of the most visited tourist spots in Goa. The beach is located by the sides of Arabian Sea in the west coast of Goa. The beach is quite famous for delicious food served by the hotels and resorts at Baga Beach.

Baga beach in Goa has a very special unique beauty of its own. There is also a spectacular retreat house that is located at the top of a hill. People love to visit that place. Being one of the best beaches in Goa, the beach has tourists day and night. During the day people mainly go for swimming as well as water sports at Baga Beach. During the night the beach has spectacular nightlife facilities including candle light dinner etc.

Aguada Beach Goa

Aguada Beach in Goa is more famous for the historical spot Aguada Fort which was built by the Portuguese to protect Goa from the foreign attacks and intrusions. People come to Aguada beach in Goa mainly for the Aguada Fort and not for the beach. Besides the several attractions at Aguda Beach, there is also a Reis Magos Fort along the Reis Magos Church from where people get a superb view of the Mandovi River.

Candolim beach Goa

Candolim beach is again in North Goa and closest to the Goa capital Panaji. This is one the best beaches in Goa for tourists who love to spend time in a peaceful atmosphere. This beach is not very crowded as compared to others

Anjuna Beach Goa

Anjuna beach is visited by a wide variety of people including artists, monks and travelers and also people who come for spending time on the beach. Anjuna beach is located 8-km onto the west of Mapusa. There are several hotels and resorts at Anjuna Beach.

The beach is famous for the excellent western seafood available on the beachside. Fresh fruits like pineapples and watermelons and locally grown coconuts are readily available in the beachside markets. Palolem Beach Goa

Just like Baga Beach, Palolem Beach is also famous for water sports like diving, boat cruises and bike tours. The restaurants nearby offer good wine and the local beverage fenny is quite famous.

Dona Paula Beach

The beach is named after an interesting myth related to the beach that it is haunted by Dona Paula de Menezes lost love. The beach is located 7-km from Panjim. National Oceanographic Institute is set up near the beach to conduct their studies on diverse marine biology. This place has thus become a major tourist attraction.

Dona Paula Beach comes in touch with Goan Sea and rivers. About 9-km away in the Choro Island is the exotic Salim Ali bird sanctuary. Governor of Goa resides near the Dona Paula Beach in the Cabo Raj Bhavan.

Miramar Beach Goa

Miramar Beach is the closes to Dona Paula with just a kilometer distance. There is a thick grove of palms at the beach. The beach derives its name from Portuguese word which reflects the scenic view of the beach.

Colva- Benaulim Beach

Also called Colva, this beach is one of the prettiest beaches of Goa. The main tourists are newly wedded couples to enjoy the calm and pleasant beauty of the beach. The beach is a white sand beach stretching across 20km towards south of Goa.

Varca/Cavelossium Beach

This beach is famous for dolphin spotting trip. After booking for the boat rides you will be taken little far into the sea until the dolphins can be found. The beach is 2km from the Colva Beach. There are many wooden shacks, thatched roof houses at the beach and also family houses. The Varka beach is very close the Dabolim airport and thus is mainly visited by international tourists.

Mabor Beach

Mabor Beach is at the south of the Cavelossim beach. This is the most clean and quiet and so is regarded as among the best beaches in Goa. There are several resorts that serve superb Goan dishes and also for night life parties.

  2. For someone who has always appreciated the beauty of nature, I find this to be a beautiful place to relax and appreciate what nature has to offer. I’ve always loved staying at beaches because of its scenery. Nothing beats the satisfaction of just looking over the horizon. If you ask me, this is one of the best ways to relax and throw away all of your stress in ocean.
